A graduate of the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine in San Juan, Dr. Torres completed his physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at the Veterans Administration Hospital in San Juan. Following his residency, Dr. Torres completed a one-year Musculoskeletal Fellowship at Louisiana State University Medical Center and served as assistant professor for the Department of Medicine. He is nationally known as an instructor, author of many articles, and a conference lecturer.
