Anatomy
Explore the anatomy of the Knee, Hip, Shoulder and Spine.
KNEE ANATOMY
The knee is the largest joint in the body. A healthy knee moves easily, allowing you to walk, turn, and squat without pain.
HIP ANATOMY
The hip is one of the largest weight-bearing joints in the body. When it's working properly, it lets you walk, sit, bend, and turn without pain. The hip is a ball and socket joint. Ligaments form a capsule connecting the ball to the socket and hold the bones in place.
SHOULDER ANATOMY
The shoulder is a ball and socket joint. The joint is surrounded and lined by cartilage, muscles, and tendons that provide support, stability, and ease of movement.
SPINE ANATOMY
The neck is called the cervical spine which is made up of 7 vertebra, the mid-back is the thoracic spine with 12 vertebra and the low back is the lumbar spine with 5 vertebra and the sacrum. Vertebra are the boney structure of the spine. They provide both protection and support for the spinal cord. A disc sits between each vertebra.
